# VeloPin

> VeloPin is a free, browser-based cycling route planner that fixes the waypoint problem: when you plan a route in Komoot or Strava and export the GPX, your café, water, resupply and junction markers often vanish on a Wahoo, Garmin, Hammerhead Karoo or COROS head unit, or land as blank pins with no icon or note. VeloPin re-maps each waypoint so it arrives on the device with the correct icon and note. It also plans resupply stops with opening hours, warns about long gaps without water, checks the road surface (paved vs gravel), and times your start around the weather per route segment (Ride Radar). Runs entirely in the browser, nothing to install. Built by a solo developer. The core planner is free; device waypoint export and a few advanced features are part of VeloPin Pro.
